Evaluation

The materials used in my cross-platform media campaign are linked  through the use of similar images of known international footballers. I also use similar fonts in all platforms and images, which gives all platforms a similar feel and gives the campaign good cohesion.

The campaign creates cohesion through the house style. All three platforms have a dominant image of a international star and all use the same colours (The Russian flag) this makes it easy for people to identify our campaign. The campaign also uses the same font and typography for the campaign name '2018 FIFA World Cup' this makes the platforms easy for the consumer to identify.

The campaigns message is reinforced on all platforms by using the same informational content on all platforms to make sure fans know all the relevant information. Also the constant use of the world's best international on all platforms show consumers the talent on show the World Cup.

My multi-platform campaign release date would be in April two months before the 2018 World Cup tournament. I have decided this as a lot of football leagues from around Europe end fixtures in April and by starting my campaign then will lead to the audience being excited and being left in anticipation by the campaign as the World Cup will be the next set of football fixtures for the football fans. Also starting my campaign after a lot of leagues finished means their wont be that much content of football related stuff meaning my campaign can take centre stage.

Overall, I feel the cross-platform media campaign was very effective as all platform used same colour and typography to show the audience that these platforms were connected. Also through the use of international stars like Ronaldo I was able to grab the attention of casual sports fans and get more attention towards the campaign.

As shown on the feedback the campaign was very effective. particularly at providing information to the consumer and this was the aim of the media to show and learn people about the upcoming world cup tournament
